Memorial services for Phyllis Jean Heard, 79, who passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Martensdale with inurnment following in the Wallace Cemetery, Wick, IA.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Leo; children, Christine Carey, Mark Carey; grandson, Nick Carey; great-granddaughter, Addison Marie Carey; brother, Don (Janet) Strable; and many nieces, nephews and other family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emily Strable; sisters, Charlene Dudney and Maxine Simpson; brother, Jerry Strable.
