Graveside services for Phillip Doane Rawson, 67, of Norwalk, who passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 in the Hartford Cemetery.

Phillip was born the son of Edward Eugene and Beverly Jean (Gamble) Rawson on July 28, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Carlisle Community High School in 1974.  Following High School, he worked for Dahl's Super Market for 20 plus years.  Following Dahl's, he worked many different jobs in between and most recently he was the owner of Task Force, a handy man service.  He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, golf, playing cards and dancing.

Phil had four children, Jodi, Eric, Tanya and Jacob.  Phil met Cindy Gray in 2014 and they were engaged to be married.

He is survived by his children, Jodi Rourke, Eric Rawson, Tanya Keller and Jacob Rawson; five grandchildren; fiancé Cindy Gray; brother, Ed (Cathy) Rawson and sister, Sandra Pettijohn and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Staci, brother, Chuck Rawson; grandparents, Delmar "Squee" and Rose Rawson and Russell and Vera Gamble and several aunts and uncles.
