Services for Phillip Jacobs, 76, who passed away, Monday, April 17, 2017 at home, will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 21 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the New Virginia Cemetery, New Virginia, IA.

He is survived by his children, Dennis Jacobs, Phyllis (Jeff) McLain; grandson, Eric (Jessica) McLain; great grandchildren, Allison Thomas, Nathan, Sylvia and Mackenzie McLain; brother, Robert Jacobs.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Pauline Jacobs, his wife, Edith Jacobs; daughter, Sharon Jacobs and an infant brother Larry Jacobs.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 20 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorial may be made to the family in his name for a memorial to be decided at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com.
