Obituary
Services for Philip Ackerman, 50, who passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 20 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Philip is survived by his wife, Karen; mother, Sherry Ackerman and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ackerman.
Visitation with family present will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 19 at Overton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
