Funeral service for Pete Seiler, 80, who died Thursday, January 5, 2012, at home will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Cremation will follow services and private family committal of cremains will be held at a later date. He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Dan) Arland of Overland Park, KS; son, Rod (Kay Devloo) Seiler of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Amie Arland of Overland Park, Nicole (Justin) Shobe of Basehor, KS, Danny (Beth) Arland of Overland Park; nieces, Christa (Keith) Kuennen and Dawn Dilla; great-nieces, Riley, Ashton, Regan and Camryn; and his canine companion, Bootie. He was preceded in death by his wife Willie Seiler; parents, Paul and Opal Seiler and sister, Donna Mae Seiler. A special thank you to Dr. Thomas Buroker and Hospice of Central Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 6, at Overton Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials contributions may be given to Hospice of Central Iowa.
