Memorial services for the celebration of the life of Paul Dwayne Guy, 84, who died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at home in Indianola, Iowa, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 19 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial of cremains following in the Milo I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Mr. Guy was born in Liberty Center, Iowa and graduated from Indianola High School in 1940. He served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. Mr. Guy farmed for 48 years in the Liberty Center and New Virginia area. He then retired and moved to Indianola in 1994 where he enjoyed playing pool at the Senior Activity Center and visiting with friends at the Corner Sundry. He was an American Legion member at New Virginia.

Mr. Guy is survived by his wife, Joan of Indianola; daughters, Debbie (Gary) Bowlin of rural Indianola and Sheila (Harry) Hunter of Indianola; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends on Monday, March 19, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Indianola Senior Activity Center or the Indianola Church of Christ.
