Paul was born on January 16, 1945 in New Virginia, IA to Fon and Roxanna (Souders) Crawford and lived most of his life in Indianola, IA.

Paul was a passionate man who enjoyed flying airplanes, fishing and riding his bicycles. He was a member of the Indianola Church of Christ.

Survivors include his three sons, Jeff Chambers, Joe Chambers both of Indianola, and John Chambers of Nebraska; and sister, Marjorie Henderson of Indianola. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Orval, Dale and Kenneth Crawford.

Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 30 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present from 2 to 4 p.m.  Memorials may be given to the family in Paul's name.
