Patsy E. Hale, 69, of Des Moines, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on September 09, 1950 in Osceola, Iowa to Bruce and Mary Lou (Merrill) Reynolds.
Patsy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Morris and Hazel Reynolds; maternal grandparents, Edwin and Mary Merrill; and her beloved parents.
Surviving are two daughters, Kris M. (Mark) Bolten of Indianola, Iowa and Kelli L. (JD Albright) Swanson of Norwalk, Iowa; three granddaughters, Megan Bolten of Des Moines, Iowa, Haley Swanson of Norwalk, Iowa, and Morgan Bolten of Indianola, Iowa; three grandsons, Zach Swanson of Phoenix, Arizona, Jaden Albright of Norwalk, Iowa, and Kasey Bolten of Indianola, Iowa; two siblings, Mark M. (Marilyn) Reynolds of Fresno, California and Larry D. Reynolds of Bondurant, Iowa; three nieces; Alicia, Allison, and Anna Reynolds, all of Fresno, California; and her loving Shih Tzu companion, Mariah.
Patsy worked at American Republic in the insurance field for many years before retiring. An avid Cyclone fan, Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family and attending and hosting gatherings.
Patsy's favorite pastime was watching and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Patsy also enjoyed horseback riding and barrel racing as a child. Patsy especially loved her dog of 5 years, Mariah. They loved to cuddle and watch Law and Order while eating dinner together.
Patsy's public graveside service will be at the North River Cemetery (5392 105th Ave, Norwalk, IA 50211) on Saturday June 20th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. You may view the service on our website shortly following the service. Pastor Dan Berry will be doing the graveside service. A visitation will not be held per her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Indianola or Norwalk Athletic Booster Club.
