Services for Patricia Charlotte Zitzmann, 84, who passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 6 at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in Indianola,  Burial of cremains will follow in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Patricia Zitzmann was born June 19, 1934 in Rochester, MN the daughter of Albert and Alma (Marquardt) Wilke.  Pat graduated from Stewartville High School then Winona State College.  Pat taught in Minnesota before she was married.  On August 4, 1963 she was united in marriage to James Zitzmann.  Following their marriage, they moved to Iowa and taught for 30 years in Indianola before retiring in June of 1995.  She was a member of Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in Indianola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Clarene Ballard; niece, Mary Ballard and sisters, Phyllis Stake and  Mabel Wilke.  Pat is survived by her husband, Jim Zitzmann; sister, Alice Hall; nieces, Gretchen (Freddy) Moreno, Cindy (Bill) Peil, Kristine Peshon, and Pam (Glen) Carlson; nephews, Greg (Penny) Hall, Steve (Sandy) Ballard, and Tim Stake.The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mt Calvary Lutheran Church Joshua Fund.  To sign an online condolence, visit our website at www.overtonfunerals.com.
