Memorial services for Patricia M. Thompson, 70, who died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Westview Care Center in Indianola, will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, September 11 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial of cremains will be in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Patricia was born in St. Louis, MO. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thompson; son, Gerry Thompson Sr.; brother, Kenneth Merrell; and her parents, Herman and Johannah Marten. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Dennis) Moffitt of Indianola; brother, Raymond (Georgeann) Merrell of St. Charles, MO; sister, Gloria (Bert) Mueller of O'Fallon, MO; eight grandchildren, Michelle,  Heather and Shauna Moffitt, Gerry Jr, Matt and Stephanie, Nate and Zoey Thompson; and six great grandchildren with one on the way.

Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Friday, September 10, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present from 6 – 8 p.m. to greet friends.
