Patricia "Pat" Ann (Porter) Jennings was born to Ikey Glenn and Treva Beatrice (Warnock) Porter on September 27, 1938 on her great grandmother, Sarah Anice Kent's seventy second birthday in Allerton, Iowa. Pat passed away on April 29, 2025 at the age of 86.

Pat attended the Allerton school through seventh grade where she was a majorette in the band.

She graduated from East High School in 1956, where she was the co-editor of the school newspaper, "The Scroll." In 1958 Patricia was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Jennings and they lived on the east side of Des Moines until 1962, then on the south side until moving to Indianola in May of 1973. She worked for Thorpe Publications, Equitable of Iowa, City of Indianola and other various jobs.

Pat is survived by her nephew, Tom Dodge, Merle Porter; nieces, Jeanie and Tressie Porter, Deborah Covey, Denise McCauley; great nephews, Micheal Covey, Sam McCauley; and great niece, Kelly Covey.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Ikey and Treva; husband, Bob; son, Bruce; brother, Jerry; nephew, Tony Porter and Don Dodge; and sister, Rachel Dodge.

Pat enjoyed many of the people she met on her journey through life. There will be no services.
