Patricia Kay Allen, born July 24, 1943, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk, IA after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer. Patricia, being a free spirit, resided in Woodland Park, CO, as well as several other states before returning to Indianola twenty years ago. Patricia is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Bonnie) Vickroy and Martin (Penny) Vickroy both of Arizona; grandson, Jeffrey David; sisters, Joyce (Gene) Bales of Winterset,IA and Peggy Clary of Liberty Center, IA; brothers, Jerry Halterman of Prescott, AZ and William "Bill" Halterman of Elkhart, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Dorothy Halterman; her first husband, Faye Vickroy and brother-in-law, Kenneth Clary. No services are planned.
