Pamela Sue Leming, 76, of Urbandale, Iowa, formerly of New Virginia, Iowa passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Karen Acres Health Care Center in Urbandale. Inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa.

Pam was born on April 21, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Kendall and Shirley (Kellogg) Dodge.

Pam was a Xray Tech for Mercy Hilltop and Mercy Pleasant Hill for 30 years.

Pam was a believer in helping others. She and her husband were foster parents to many wonderful children.

Pam was active in the Des Moines Parrothead Club, she enjoyed gardening, painting, playing the ukelele, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Leming and her parents. She is survived by her son Robb (Amy) Leming, granddaughter Kaitlinn (Ben) Hager and their son Malachi Hager, and grandson Nick (Emma Sanders) Leming; son Adam (Missy O'Dell) Leming and their son Carter; and brother Steve (Kara Selinsky Dodge) Dodge.

They have said in life you should leave it better than you found it and in Pam's case, mission accomplished.

Memorials in memory of Pam may be given to Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa or AHeinz57 Pet Rescue.
