Orpha was born near Liberty Center, Iowa and had lived in Panora and Des Moines before moving to Indianola in 1990.  She worked for the IRS in Des Moines retiring in 1966.  She and her husband owned Clevenger Variety Shop on Army Post Road in Des Moines from 1955 – 1975.

She is survived by daughters, Lyla Bonjour of Indianola and Linda (Sonny) Weeks of Milo; sister, Margaret Heggen of Indianola and sister-in-law, Jeanne Nash of Milo; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde Clevenger and brothers, Herman and Doyle Nash.

Visitation will be held 9:30 – 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 7 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends.
