A Celebration of Life Gathering for Nicole Lynn Nestvedt, 38, of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. A Time of Remembrance will begin at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nicole was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose heart was always centered on her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, Leah and Jayden, and cherished every moment she shared with her granddaughter Geneva. Nicole enjoyed the simple things in life like coloring, relaxing with a Pepsi and being surrounded by the people she loved most. Her strength, warmth, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave so freely.

Nicole is survived by her daughter, Leah Boyd; son, Jayden Juarez; granddaughter, Geneva Gomez; fiancé; Tony Juarez; brother, Derrick Nestvedt; niece, Mackenah Nestvedt; and parents, David Nestvedt and Lori Harmison (Denning).

Memorials in memory of Nicole may be given to EveryStep Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
