Nicholas E. Marchant, 38, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals.  A graveside service and interment of cremains will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 28 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.  A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 28 at Overton Funeral Home, Indianola.

Nick enjoyed crewing and flying in the balloons, watching the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Cardinals (just like his grandpa Hicks) and doing wood buring.

He is survived by his mom, Debbie Marchant; brother, Dustin (Shelley) Marchant; nephews, Lance and Tanner Marchant; loving cat, Cali and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis Marchant; grandparents, Martha and Dale Hicks and Wilma and Gerald Marchant.
