A Christian Vigil Service for Nicholas "Nick" Henry, 25, of Truro, who passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 will be held 7 p.m., Monday, October 6 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., prior to services at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Born on June 16, 2000, Nick grew up with a love for the outdoors and a heart full of kindness. He graduated from high school in 2019 and went on to pursue his passion for hands-on work, completing the electrician program and proudly becoming a journeyman in May of 2025.

Nick married the love of his life, Cecily Lumbard, on July 24, 2024. Together they welcomed their daughter, Clessie Jo, on January 31, 2025, who quickly became the center of his world.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend. He loved camping, riding motorcycles, wood carving, leather working, anything he could build with his hands, and he shared every adventure with his beloved dog, Atlas. Whether it was helping a neighbor, fixing something for a friend, or simply offering a kind word, Nicholas was always the first to show up and the last to leave. To know him was to be his friend.

Nick's warmth, generosity, and big-hearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Nick is survived by his wife, Cecily; daughter, Clessie Jo; mother, Jana Henry; siblings, Nathan, Haley, Jacob Henry; grandparents, Lois and Delwyn Henry; uncle, Grant (Mary Jo) Henry; cousin, Sammi; and aunt, Jill Henry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nick's memory to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
