Naomi Fern Holveck, 89, passed away July 10, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. She was born to Roy and Mamie Pevehouse on December 9, 1920.

She married L.J. Holveck on December 24, 1941 and to this union two children were born. They lived and farmed in Hardin and Marshall County for many years.

She loved her family, faith, friends and enjoyed sewing and crafts.  She will be remembered for her dedication to her family and Bangor-Liberty Friends Church.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn Kroll and Jerry (Donna) Holveck; grandchildren, T.J. Holveck, Tiffany (Kip) Strickland; great grandchildren Jadyn, Brinkley and Braelynn; sister Ardith (James) Donaldson; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Bess) Holveck; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.J., parents and brother Francis.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Bangor-Liberty Friends Church, Union, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow in the Bangor Cemetery, Union, IA.
