Celebration of Life Services for Nancy Jean Horton who passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Des Moines, will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Indianola First Assembly of God Church.  Visitation will be held prior to services from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church.

Nancy was a giver.  She gave us her love, her time, amazing food, a hard time, laughs, drinks and the best hugs and kisses.  There will never be someone that gave us as much of themselves to others as Nancy did.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Kevin (Shelley) Peterson, Nicole (Jamie) Onken, Thomas (Laura) Peterson, Bradley (Ashley) Peterson, Grant (Heather) Horton, and Adam (Shawna) Horton; grandchildren, Abigail Peterson, Bradley Applegate, Ryan Applegate, Lucas Peterson, Alex Onken, Elsie Onken, Charlotte Gould, Taytem Allbaugh, Bryher Horton, Eloise Onken, Benjamin Peterson, Maxwell Peterson, Elliott Peterson, Lucille Peterson, Beckham Horton and Liam Peterson; mother, Della Miller; siblings, Diane Hougland, Deb Peterson, Rock Miller, Tim Miller, and Nett Schaffer.  She preceded in death by her father, Richard Miller; and brother, Rick Miller.

Memorials may be given to Heal House in Indianola in her name.
