Nancy Carol Foust, 78, of Indianola, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the Village. Nancy was born on August 29, 1947, to Thomas and Marcelle (Gillam) Perry.

In Nancy's seventy-eight years, she was so many things to so many people. Nancy was a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, teacher, principle and a friend.

Nancy truly had a heart of gold always looking out for others, lending a listening ear, teaching others, and she always had a word of advice or a big hug. She didn't just live for her happiness but for the happiness of others. Nancy will always be remembered by her family, friends, and the many students she taught in her 40 plus years of being in education.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Foust; her parents, Thomas and Marcella Jane (Gillam) Peery; her brother, Thomas Peery Jr.; and several other loved ones.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, 1:30 p.m., at North River Cemetery, rural Norwalk. Following the service there will be a small gathering at one of her favorite places to get Mexican food - Las Flores, 200 S Jefferson Way, Indianola Iowa.
