Muriel June Buzzard, 87, resident of Bethany Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Brainerd, went to be with her Lord Friday, January 21, 2005. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Indianola, Ia. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.

She was born March 16, 1917 to Andrew and Deane (Gerdis) Johnson in Buffalo Center, Iowa.

Survivors include her son Terrance (Darlene) Buzzard, Baxter, Mn., grandson Brad (Connie) Buzzard, Zimmerman, Mn., granddaughters, Michelle Buzzard, Baxter, Mn., Jennifer (Ryan) Ziegler, Brainerd, Mn., brother, Maynard Johnson, Mora, Mn., sister Mae Gross, Hayfield, Mn., 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vaughn Buzzard in 1982, brothers, Merle Johnson, Marvin Johnson and sister Mildred Donnelley.

Visitation with family present will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.
