MIKAEL R. MOREY Tarpon Springs, Fl. formerly of Indianola Services for Mikael R. Morey, 53, who died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at home, will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 6 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. He was born March 24, 1958 in Des Moines, IA, the son of Robert and Alice Morey and graduated from Indianola High School in 1976. Following graduation he worked construction and also drove truck for Walnut Grove Feed Company and Meadow Gold Dairy in Des Moines. Mike moved to Florida in 1995 where he worked construction and drove truck. He enjoyed camping and fishing and riding Harley's and attending bike rally's in Sturgis, SD and Daytona Beach, Fl. He is survived by his mother, Alice Morey; brother, David (Kay) Morey; and his nieces, Heather, Holly, Heidi, Hannah and Haley all of Indianola; and many close friends in Indianola and Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Morey. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, December 5 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends.
