Michael Ross Forbes, 61, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, surrounded by his family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Daneece; children, Amber Schaeffer, Ryan (Kim) Forbes, Nick (Ashley) Forbes, Dannell (Luke) Becker, Brandi Haight and Todd (Alissa) Haight; 13 grandchildren; his father, Jim Forbes; and brother, Jeff Forbes.  Mike was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Forbes and sister, Vicki Burns.

Mike was born on April 26, 1958, in Branson, MO.  He graduated from Hoover High School in Des Moines, IA. and was founder/owner of Quality Scent, a business built with his wife, Daneece.

Mike was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.  He lived life hunting, fishing and enjoyed riding all over the country with his mules.  He loved his farm and time spent in the garden.  Mike was a skilled leather worker and enjoyed building traditional bows.  He loved his church and enjoyed showing how the Lord had blessed him and his family.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.

Please join the family for a Public Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the First Assembly of God Church with services to begin at 11 a.m.
