A Celebration of Life Service for Michael Aldini, 31, will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, IA.  The family will greet friends two hours prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his mother, Dawn (Bill) Cameron; sisters, Kelsie Knowler, Anastaisa Aldini and Tina Brunk; grandparents, Carmen Hampton, Louis and Donna Aldini and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Aldini, step-father, Scott Knowler, and grandfather Don Hampton.

Michael graduated from Carroll High School and went on to graduate from University of Iowa with a Bachelor's degree. During high school he stayed active with football, wrestling and soccer. He loved to travel and be outside hiking in the mountains whenever he had the chance. His love for animals and artwork was undeniable, but more specifically his passion for pottery. If he wasn't at practice for football or wrestling, he was in the art room working on a new design. He would always talk about having his own art/pottery studio in his home one day. Most would say his laugh was so contagious you couldn't help but laugh with him even if you didn't know what was so funny. Michael was always social and had no fear to talk with someone new and create an impact on them. His love, passion for artwork and contagious laugh will never be forgotten.
