MERRILL J. SIMMERMAN Indianola Services for Merrill J. Simmerman, 90, who died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at home, will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 15 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial with military rites will be held in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Survivors include his children, Connie (Neal) Fry, Jill (Gary) Downey and David (Pamela) Simmerman; grandchildren, Brady (Diane) Fry, Stacey (Dave) Geiger, Angie Fry Boyens and Jarid (Jacy) Downey; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Gaige, Chase, Camryn, Ryder, Bowen and Sully. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 14 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Indianola American Legion Post #165.
