MERLE L. WOHLWEND Indianola Services for Merle L. Wohlwend, 88, who died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Westview Care Center in Indianola, will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 3 at Chapel of Faith Church in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Wilma; daughter, Pam Worthington; two grandsons, Dustin and Darren; three great grandchildren, Maleah, Layhana and Lathan; and brothers, Don Wohlwend and Pat (Rita) Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Francis and Arthur Wohlwend; sisters, Dolly Kubli, Cleo Viers, Ethel Jones, Mabel Phillips, Alice Ferguson, and Gladys Carder; and son-in-law, Jeff Worthington. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 2 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Chapel of Faith Church.
