Services for Melvina Kisting, 93, who died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Norwalk Nursing and Rehab Center, will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 27 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Cremation will follow services and private interment of cremains will be in Moville, IA at a later date. Melvina affectionately known as Mel was born October 27, 1919 in Bronson, Iowa to William and Frona (Crittenden) Dyer. She was a homemaker all her life. She loved doing word search books, reading, spending hours putting puzzles together and her dog Dolly. She previously had lived in Moville, Iowa and had lived at Good Life in Norwalk for the past 24 years. She is survived by her daughter Geraldine (Robert) Swanberg of Prole, daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charley and sons Larry and Terry. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Wednesday at Overton Funeral Home.
