Services for Melvin Dale Garrison, 76, who died Friday, July 24, 2009 at Westview Care Center in Indianola will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Cremation will follow services and burial of cremains will follow in the New Virginia Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wendell and twin brother Don. He is survived by his brothers, Willard (Joan) Garrison of Milo; sisters, Wilma (Elihu) Wheeler and Maurine Streeter both of Indianola; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held before services from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 29 at Overton Funeral Home with family present to greet friends.
