Memorial service for Melvin "Dale" Armstrong, 72, who died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston will be held 7p.m., October 26, 2011 at Overton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to services. He is survived by his wife, Grace; children, Melvin Armstrong Jr., Becky Gordon, Michael Armstrong, Jeannie Armstrong and Erica Rice; brother, Ronnie; sisters, Joyce and Virginia and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
