Melissa Diane Aldridge, 54, of Ackworth, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 in Des Moines, Iowa.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date, with inurnment of cremains in the Ackworth Cemetery.

Melissa was the daughter of Randall and Diana (Outland) Aldridge.  She graduated from Indianola High School in 1989 and worked for a short time in Fast Food.  Melissa enjoyed family trips and traveling.  She was a regular walker in the Ackworth Community and had an excellent memory.  She was considered the family historian, quick witted and always had a comment.  Melissa was a kind and loving neighbor, a care giver to her parents in their later lives, and a proud and loving aunt to her three nieces.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Krysti Aldridge and Randy (Angela) Aldridge; nieces, Bailey Aldridge, Blake (Spencer) Thomas and Katelyn Byrd; and great-nephew, Oliver Thomas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Diana Aldridge.
