Melisa Lynn Alexander, 55, of Des Moines, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 in Des Moines. Her wish was to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.

Melisa is survived by her husband Ryan Alexander; children, Jarod Schnell and Jordan Schnell; sister, Shawn Pierce; brother, Kelly Andersen and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Susan Andersen and brother Brian Andersen.
