Services for Maxine Maxwell, 100, who passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Overton Funeral Home.  Family will greet friends from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services.  Burial will follow in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Maxine's father passed away at an early age of 30.  Her mother was remarried to Charles Wesley Anderson.  Maxine was united in marriage to Glenn L. Maxwell.  They had two sons, William E. Maxwell and Gene Maxwell. They had lived in Hazlet, New Jersey, Fremont, CA., 18 years in Des Moines, Indianapolis, IN., and Washington DC.  They had moved to Indianola in 1985.

Survivors include her son, Gene (Phongsay) Maxwell; grandson, Dylan Y. Maxwell; siblings, Harold Eugene (Jack) Anderson, Donald Lee Anderson, Marilyn Lea Anderson Runnells, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, son William, parents and nine siblings, William George Geagley, Ralph Wesley Anderson, Arlene Anderson, Dorothy Fern Cook Pack, Wilbur Glenn Anderson, Kenneth Wayne Anderson, Evelyn Marie Anderson Heck, Margery Helen Anderson Irving and Betty Lou Anderson McKnight.
