Funeral services for Maurice Romback, 89, who died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 18 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Maurice was born in Jackson Township, Iowa, and graduated from St. Mary's High School. He farmed west of Indianola 61 years before moving to Altamonte Springs, Florida in 2002. He was a member of Center Chapel United Methodist Church and Suzy Q's Dance Club. He and his wife were selected as the Pioneer Couple for the Warren County Historical Society annual parade.

He is survived by his daughter, Marcia Scheer of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Alex Scheer of Altamonte Springs, FL and Aaron Scheer of Orlando, FL; and a sister, Marie Law of Indianola. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ilo on April 15, 2002.

Visitation will be held 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Center Chapel United Methodist Church.
