Services for Mary Lucille Overton, 87, of Norwalk, who passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Mary is survived by her siblings, Curtis (Carolyn) Schmitter and Irene Anderson; nieces and nephews, Dianna Nelson, William (Kathy) Smith, Brenda (Steve) Archibald, Bruce (Chris) Schmitter, Debrea (Eric) Neibarger, John (Tiffany) Anderson Jr.; step-children, Peggy Clark, Robert Overton Jr., and Jewel (Jeff) Godwin; step-grandchildren, Craig Clark, Andrea (Dave) Sutherland, Natasha (Shawn) Hubbard, Ryan (Jennifer) Godwin, Meghan Thompson, Brian Overton, Samuel Overton, and Joel Overton; several step-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Overton Sr.; parents, Louis and Cecil Schmitter; and a sister, Lois Smith.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
