Mary is survived by her daughter, Betty Johnston; six grandchildren, Karla, Terry, Doug, Ben (Kelli), Troy (Tracy), and Julie; ten great-grandchildren, and many, many family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Pat; son, Gene; and four brothers.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 13 between 4-8pm at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where family will be present between 6-8pm. Services will be held 10am Saturday, July 14, at Overton Funeral Home with burial following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa, First Baptist Church of Indianola, or Hartford Presbyterian Church.
