MARY DUNLAP Indianola Services for Mary Matson Dunlap, 99, who passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at The Village in Indianola, will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 6 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the New Virginia Cemetery. Mary was born June 5, 1915 the daughter of Lester and Goldie (Stratton) Matson in Des Moines, IA. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was a member of the New Virginia Methodist Church, loved gardening, teaching Sunday school and wrote articles for The Village View a monthly publication at The Village in Indianola. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Bonnie) Dunlap; granddaughters, Tracy (Mark) Hodges and children, Hunter and Fisher Decker and Haley Hodges, and Melissa Catron and children, Josh, Tyler and Christine Catron; and four great great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Gates and Norma Randles; and many nieces and nephews.
