Memorial services for Mary Evelyn (Welshhons) Burbank, 88, who died Monday, December 14, 2009, will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, December 20, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Pleasantville, IA of which she was a member. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in the Hartford Cemetery.

Mary was born December 6, 1921 the daughter of Ernest and Inez Freeman Welshhons. She worked as an accountant for the State of Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harley, Clarence and Dean Welshhons; one sister, Hazel Scogland. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Moeller of Des Moines; son, Dean (Vivian) Burbank of Panama City, FL; five grandchildren, Charles Dean Burbank, William Pearson Burbank, Walter (Mimi) Moeller Jr. and their sons, Walter and Danny, Margaret Ann Moeller, Patricia Kay (Mike) Goudey and their daughter, Samantha; step grandchildren, Steven J. Mattingley and Lisa A. Turturro; brothers, Vance (Millie) Welshhons, Max (Yvonne) Welshhons, Stanley Welshhons and Harold Welshhons; sisters, Loraine Wittkowski, Lucille Sindric and Norma Rippee; and many favorite nieces and nephews.
