Services for Mary June Adams, 77, who died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 18 at Overton Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow services and burial of cremains will be held at a later date in the Linn Grove Cemetery, Prole, IA.

She is survived by her husband James; children, Patti (Merle) Walter of Mt Ayr, IA, Michelle Adams of Des Moines, and James Adams Jr. of Johnston; two grandchildren, Chip Williams and Allison Walter; and brother, Jess Lathrum.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Lathrum; sister, Alice Bea and brother, Lou Lathrum.

Visitation will be held from 3 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present from 6 – 8:00 p.m. to greet friends.  Memorials may be given to the Elevator Fund at Center Chapel Church.
