MARLYS PAULEY Norwalk Services for Marlys Pauley, 82, who passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Stuart Community Care Center, will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 9 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church in Norwalk with burial following in the Norwalk Cemetery. Cleo Marlys Pauley was born in Franklin County, Iowa, on August 4th, 1932. She went to Simpson College to be a teacher. She taught for a few years before marrying James Pauley on August 14, 1955. They moved to Norwalk in 1970. While in Norwalk, she was a school cook and an Avon Lady. Marlys loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed camping, square dancing, singing and listening to hymns, reading and being involved with her church. Survivors include her children, Jeffery(Lisa) Pauley, Craig(Diana) Pauley, and Melody(Mark) Morris, brother Chester Worden; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Clifford(Sara), Juliana, Tyler(Abby), Dane(Abby) Pauley, Beth Peddle and Clayton and Cameron Adams; and five great - grandchildren, Reighan and Jazmyne Henning, Fletcher Pauley, Halley Joel and jewel Peddle. She was preceded in death by her husband, her four brothers and her parents. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church.
