Obituary

Services for Marjorie M. Taylor, 87, who died Friday, November 25, 2005 at The Village Health Center in Indianola, will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Liberty Center Cemetery.

Born in Warren County, IA, she was a graduate of Drake University and taught elementary school and country school in Liberty Center and Milo then retired from Whittier Elementary School in Indianola. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Delta Kappa Gamma and International Honorary Society for Women Educators. She was very active with Liberty Center United Methodist Church of which she was a member and she was also a 50+ year member of the Warren County Farm Bureau.

She is survived by her brother, Darl (Elaine) Bumgarner and two sisters, Joan (Dwayne) Guy and Caryll (Eddie) Wilbur all of Indianola; along with several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Liberty Center United Methodist Church.
