A Memorial Gathering for Marjorie J. Castelda, 87, who died Saturday, March 1, 2008, will be held from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.

Marjorie was born in Asheville, North Carolina and had lived in Indianola for the past 15 years.  Her family was the most important part of her life.  Marjorie will be remembered by her family and friends for her needle work that she gave them and also to the men and women of the armed forces.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Thomas Castelda.  She is survived by her son, Carl A. Castelda and wife Marie of Morristown, TN; former daughter-in-law, Sharon Castelda of Indianola; grandchildren, Bryan Castelda and wife Serena and Stacie Castelda and great-granddaughter, Ahna Castelda; and a brother, Dr. Thomas Bell of Pottsboro, TX and her former husband, Carl Castelda of McLeon, VA.  Memorials may be given to the West Kilimanjaro Scholarship Foundation.
