Marilyn Kay Starner went home to her Lord, this day, January 1, 2017. She was born in Des Moines on July 14, 1943 and united in marriage to Ronald Starner for 47 years before his death in 2008. They had three sons, Ronald II, Todd and James. She is also survived by granddaughters, Kassi Starner and Jesse Clement; and grandson, Cody Clement. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Harriet Hall; and sisters, Mary Clark and Martha Lathrop.

Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with a memorial service following at 3 p.m.
