A Celebration of Life Gathering and Service for Dr. Marilyn Marie "Mae-Mae" Porter DVM, 73, of Indianola, who passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Overton Funeral Home with a time a remembrance at 7 p.m.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Curtis Porter, Kyle Porter and Cory Porter; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Claira and Kelsie Porter; siblings, Paul Chandler and Carol Chandler.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Grace Chandler and an infant sister Elizabeth Chandler.

Memorials in memory of Marilyn can be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society for the New Building Project.
