MARIAN GODLOVE Indianola Services for Marian Godlove, 82, who passed away Friday, January 31, 2014, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2014 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Marian was born June 11, 1931 to Homer and Johanna (Terpstra) Feyen in Holland, MI. She was united in marriage to Arlo G. Godlove March 5, 1949 and to this union eight children were born. Marian enjoyed being a business woman in owning an antique shop and restaurant. She enjoyed entertaining and hosting family events, crocheting, making her handmade quilts for her children, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and traveling across the United States with her husband and family. Survivors include her children; Jackie (Rob) Morris, Ron Godlove, Karen Kleymann, Lori (Greg) Goering, Becky (Steve) Becker; brother, Fred (Judy) Feyen; sisters, Norma (Don) Baker, Carole (Jim) Floyd; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Johanna Feyen; husband, Arlo G. Godlove; children, Arlo G. Jr. and James Dean Godlove and Joyce Kruger; brother, Vernon Feyen Sr.; sisters, Phyllis Klinge and Hope Williams; and great-grandchild, Bryten Becker. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 6 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given in Marian's name to Westview Care Center in Indianola.
