Services for Margaret Kirscher Oberender, 88, who passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Medical Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana, will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 27 at the Linn Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery.

Margaret lived most of her adult life in the Linn Grove area and Warren County. Since December, 2005, she resided at Carroll Manor, an assisted living facility in Delphi, Indiana.

Margaret was united in marriage to H. Marvin Kirscher in January, 1938. Marvin died November, 1980.

Margaret married Carl Oberender in February, 1985. Carl died October, 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Carrie Diers; 2 sisters, Eunice Crees and Virginia Spencer; her two husbands Marvin and Carl; and a granddaughter, Julia Baldon.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirleen Dimmitt (Cleo), of Delphi, IN; daughter, Bettyann Bohall (Richard) of Adel, IA; son, H. Marvin Kirscher Jr. (Bonnie) of rural Osceola, IA; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Diers (Maxine).

Visitation will be held 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where the family will be present 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to Linn Grove United Methodist Church.
