Marcella Miller, 96, of Norwalk, Iowa, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 8, at Church of the Assumption, Churchville, where she is a member. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.

Marcella was born on March 14, 1914, at Bridgewater, Iowa to Martin F. and Emma K. (Reis) Tracy. She had been married to Louis Miller for 61 years until his death in 2003 and had lived in rural Norwalk since 1953, where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed getting out of the house to do chores and made sure everything got done on the farm and in the home. Marcella was a hardworking and beloved wife and mother.

She is survived by two sons, Louis, Jr. and Ronald both of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Joy Worcester (Steve) of Golden, CO and Penelope Cadigan (Frank) of San Clemente, CA; one sister, Elma Tracy of Winterset, IA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family present will be 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 7 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at www.overtonfunerals.com.
