Born in Milo, Iowa, Janice graduated from Indianola High School in 1950. She worked for the Warren County Treasurers Office for 40 years and was a life long member of Center Chapel Church, playing the piano and organ for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Orville "Dale" Wagner; son, Michael (Barb) Wagner and daughter, Debra (Tim) Howser all of Indianola. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Meggan Wagner, Jade (Brad) Nagel of Des Moines, Lucas (Kelly) Howser stationed in Baghdad, Iraq, and Katie Howser of Des Moines; brother, Ronald (Dee) Wilbur of Carlisle; and a host of in-laws, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to Center Chapel Church in Indianola.
