Dale was born in Monroe, Iowa on November 5, 1927 to John and Opal Dop.  He farmed and retired from Warren County Oil Co. after 42 years.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Doris of Indianola; his three children, Dennis (Sandy) Dop of Kearney, NE, Dwight (Diana) Dop and Darlene (Jeff) Bradley all of Indianola; 7 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Arlen (June) Dop of Urbandale; brother-in-law, Dean Harvey of Norwalk; several nieces and nephews; other family and many friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church.
