Services for Luther Suckow, 82, who died Monday, January 4, 2010 at the Iowa Veterans Medical Center, Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 8, at the Norwalk Christian Church, Norwalk, Iowa. Burial will follow in the Norwalk Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mavis; sons, Doug (Helen) of Urbandale and Greg (Laura) of Norwalk; granddaughters, Anna (Chad) Behrens, Stephanie (Michael) Lovelace, Amanda, Janelle and Kimberly Suckow; and brother, Dale Suckow.

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Norwalk Christian Church with family present to greet friends. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Iowa Heart Center or to the church in his name.
