Born in Des Moines, Iowa, she had lived in Indianola and Warren County all her life. Lura Lorraine graduated from Indianola High School in l962. She had worked as a bookkeeper for K Mart in Des Moines until retiring for health reasons.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; sons Mike (Teri), Galen (Kerri), and Monte (Karla), all of Indianola; four brothers, Harold of Des Moines, Clifford or Tuscon,Ariz, Jerry of Pleasant Hill and Bill of Indianola; a sister JoAnn McVey ofLeon IA; AND Eight grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by a brother Delbert and granddaughter, Casey Lynn.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, at Overton Funeral Home where the family will be present to greet friends 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to her family.
